About Us
Based in North Mississippi, we are Tony and Tammie Dixon and together we make up Dixon Creative Images, LLC.
When we met in 2013 Tony was an IT Engineer specializing in network security, while Tammie was an HR Manager. It was apparent that Tony was extremely creative and carried his camera everywhere we went capturing everything from beautiful landscapes to the memories we were making. It was also apparent Tony’s love for photography, and I learned that he had shot more than just for fun. For nearly 10 years he had captured thousands of memories for families, including family pictures, senior portraits, sports, and multiple weddings, on his own and often associated under other photographers’ branding.
That is when I realized that photography was his calling and together, we started the process of making this our fulltime passion. We married by 2014 and started the process of making our dream come true.
Tony takes pride in every image he produces. He seeks to make every image magazine quality. He takes the time to learn the ins and outs of all his gear as well as what he can and cannot fix through editing. He treats every client like his only client and listens to the memories they are trying to capture and the look they are looking for in the final product.
Tammie handles all the bookings, consultations, and invoicing. She is also currently studying to become a makeup artist and hair stylist as well as we have learned the importance of having properly applied makeup in pictures that our clients will enjoy forever.
Together we work to make every session fun and memorable. It is our goal to create an experience as unique as you and your story. We capture everything from engagement, rehearsal dinners to weddings and everything else in between wedding related. We also do headshots, maternity, family, and senior portraits. We love to travel and would love to be part of capturing your memories and special days.
We want to work with you to capture the day just as you have envisioned. We start with our basic packages and build a custom package that suites your story. We work very hard to make sure that your pictures are of the highest quality because we know these will be cherished for a lifetime.
In our spare time we love spending time with our four children (2 teens and 2 adult children) and our fur baby, Chessie. We are the parents that embarrass our children by dancing in the store or singing loudly in the car. We believe life is about our experiences and are always trying to find ways to create new ones along the way. As our children are getting older we especially enjoy traveling to new places and experiencing new cuisine along the way. Some would even say we never meet a stranger wherever we go as we love engaging people in conversation and hearing about their stories.
